Thematic Programmes

A key activity of The New Zealand Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (NZIMA) is the organisation of 6-monthly programmes on themes drawn from a range of fields of significant interest. These programmes include:

  • participation by overseas experts and mathematical scientists in NZ
  • associated workshops held at various locations around New Zealand
  • postdoctoral fellowships in the theme areas
  • postgraduate research scholarships in the theme area.
